Turkey and the Holy Land
Join us to visit one of the most interesting religious and historic sites
in the world. Enjoy 18 days and 17 nights of the most exciting experience
exploring the Holy Land, Turkey, and follow the steps of the Apostle Paul.

DAY 01 TAMPA - LONDON
Meeting at the Tampa International Airport. Night on board.
DAY 02 LONDON - ISTANBUL
Arrive at London with connection to Istanbul. Arrive at Istanbul. Our
representatives take you to your hotel to check-in and rest.
DAY 03 ISTANBUL
Breakfast. Excursion of half day including: Departure early in the morning
to board a cruise through the Bosforo that separates both continents, Asia
and Europe with the possibility to admire the beautiful Ottoman Villages,
the Dolmabahce, Ciragan and Beylerbeyi palaces. Lodging.
DAY 04 ISTANBUL
Breakfast. Free day. Optional Excursion whole day with lunch including: Saint
Sophie, the Blue Mosque, the Roman Hippodrome, and the Topkapi Museum. Lodging.
DAY 05 ISTANBUL - ADANA - ANTIOQUIA - ADANA
Breakfast. Transportation to the flight to Adana. Arriving and departure
to Antioquia, first center de Christianity diffusion where for the first
time the members of the community founded by Saint Bernabe and directed by
Apostles Saint Paul and Saint Peter adopted the name of Christians. Visit
to the Christians caves. After having lunch, visit to the museum of Hatay
(Antioquia) that has a collection of Roman tiles considered the best in the
world. Return to Adana, dinner and lodging.
DAY 06 ADANA - TARSO - CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast and departure to Tarso where Saint Paul was born. This is one of
the more ancient cities in the world founded by the third son of Adan and
Eva, Seth. Lunch. Panoramic view of the city across the Taurus mounts and
continuing to the Capadocia region. Arrive and visit to the underground city
of Ozluce that was built with a cereal deposits, dorms, and ventilation wells.
This place was used as a refugee by Christians of time. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 07 CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast and whole day excursion in this amazing region of lunar landscapes
created through centuries above a tick and soft layer of lava from the two
near volcanoes. The Goreme Valley, incredible monastic Byzantine complex,
integrated by churches excavated in the rocks with beautiful paintings; The
little troglodytes towns of Zelve, Uchisar, natural fortress, the fairy chimneys
of Urgup. Lunch. Visit the handcrafts proper of this region. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 08 CAPPADOCIA - KONYA - YALVAC - PAMUKKALE
Breakfast and early departure to Kenya, well know with the name of Iconium
or Ikonio during the Roman domination. It was also known as Claudiconium
in honor of Claudio the emperor. Saint Paul and Saint Bernabé introduced
for the first time the Christianity during their first missionary trip. Saint
Paul visited for the second time the city of Iconio while he was traveling
to Occident. This was the capital of the Selyucida state. In this place,
we will visit the dancing Dervishes Monastery. Lunch in the route and continue
to Antioch of Pisidia where an important Jewish community existed and received
especial privileges from the Seleucids. Saint Paul and Saint Bernabe visited
the city during their first missionary trip. Continuing to Pamukkale. Dinner
and lodging.
DAY 09 PAMUKKALE - MILET - KUSADASI
Breakfast and departure to visit Pamukkale, famous per its thermal waters
and for the cascades of petrified calcium that are a unique spectacle with
their white mountains of cotton. Visit also to the ancient city of Hierapolis.
Continuing to Dirima. Lunch and visit to the Apollo temple, one of the biggest
of the Greek world. Visit of the Millet, where Saint Paul arrived during
his third missionary trip, in his way back from Corinth his journey to Jerusalem
to say goodbye to the Presbyterians of the church of Ephesus. Visit to the
theater and the Agora. Continue to Kusadasi. Dinner and lodging.
DAY10 KUSADASI - EPHESUS - KUSADASI
Breakfast. Departure to Ephesus founded in the XI century before Christ.
His strategic location next to the ocean makes it a very important point
of communications between Orient and Occident, and his great temple dedicated
to the goddess Artemis, one of the 7 World Wonders. This place attracted
many pilgrims from the most remote places making the Ephesus a very important,
rich and famous city. Visit to the famous Amphitheater where Saint Paul preached
with a capacity of 25,000 people. This theater is in good shape. There are
some other very interesting places such as the Agora, the Roman baths, the
Library of Celsius, the Adriano temple, the church of the virgin Mary where
it was celebrated the third ecumenical council in 431.l Lunch. Visit to Saint
John cathedral and the house of the Virgin Mary. Return to Kusadasi. Dinner
and lodging.
DAY 11 KUSADASI - PERGAMO - CANAKKALE
Breakfast. Departure to Pergamo. The evangelization of Pergamo is related
to Saint John the evangelist and his disciples. The importance comes from
an angel the addressee of one of the letters of the 7 churches. Visit to
the Acropolis, where there is the most inclined theater in the world, the
Trajano fountain, the Temple of Athena Polias, Temple of Hera, the library
and the gymnasium, the Altar of Zeus Soler of big proportions and considered
as one of the 7 World Wonders. In the lower part of the city, we can appreciate
the ruins of the Byzantine Basilic called "The Red" because of the color
of its bricks. Visit to the Asclepios where it is located the temple in honor
of the health god. After lunch we will continue to Tiatira where it is located
the temple of Apollo Trimnario, god of the sun, and the great Byzantine Basilic.
Continuing to Canakkale. Dinner and lodging.
DAY12 CANAKKALE - ISTAMBUL- TEL AVIV
Breakfast. Departure to Canakkale located on the side of the Asiatic stretch
of the Dardanelos. After having lunch, we will continue to Troy, very famous
ancient city that remain us the Iliad of Homer. Visit to the horse of Troy
that served to hide soldiers. Continuing to Istanbul to take the flight number
LY-586 at 19:45 hrs to Tel Aviv. After arriving at 21:05, our representative
take you to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 13 TEL AVIV - GALILEE
Breakfast buffet. Brief visit to Tel Aviv - Haifa. Continue our route to
Cesaria, visit of the crossed city, the Roman theater. Continue to Haifa
to visit the Carmelite monastery of Stella Maris and the Persians gardens.
Panoramic view from the top of the Carmel Mount and continuing to Saint John
of Acre to visit its medieval fortifications. Proceed to Galilee. Dinner
and lodging in Kibbutz in Galilee.
DAY14 GALILEE - NAZARETH - TIBERIADAS
Breakfast buffet. Departure to the mount of Beatitudes where Jesus gave "the
sermon on the mount." Visit to Tabgha where the miracle of the fish and bread
multiplication took place, the Capernaum, ancient synagogue and house of
Saint Peter. Continue around the Galilee Sea to Tiberiades and in the afternoon
via cana of Galilee to Nazareth, church of the annunciation, Saint Joseph's
carpentry, and the fountain of the virgin. Dinner and lodging in Tiberiades.
DAY15 TIBERIADAS - JERUSALEM
Breakfast buffet. Departure crossing the valley of Jordan to Jericho, visiting
the excavations. Visit to the Mount of temptations and the Dead Sea. Continuing
crossing the dessert of Judea via Betania. Continuation to Jerusalem. Dinner
and lodging at the hotel in Jerusalem.
DAY16 JERUSALEM
Breakfast buffet. Departure to the Scopus Mount to see a breathtaking view
of Jerusalem. Continue to the Mount of Olives; Gethsemane garden and the
Basilica of the agony. Excursion in the New Jerusalem. Visit to the sanctuary
of the book where the manuscripts of the Dead Sea are exhibited. Visit of
the yad vashem memorial, museum memorial dedicated to the 6 million of
holocaust's victims. Continue to Ein Karem to visit the sanctuaries of Saint
John and the church of the visitation. Dinner and lodging at the hotel in
Jerusalem.
DAY 17 JERUSALÉM - BETHLEHEM
Breakfast buffet. Excursion to the old city including the wall of sorrows,
temple esplanade where the Omar and Aksa Mosques are located (the entrance
to the mosques is not included). The Via Dolorosa, church of the holy sepulcher,
continue to Mount Sión to visit king David's tomb. In the afternoon,
visit to Bethlehem (only if the authorities allow it) church of the Nativity;
Saint Jerome Chapel, and the prairie of the shepherds. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 18 TEL AVIV - FRANKFURT - TAMPA
Breakfast buffet. Departure from your hotel to the airport to take the flight
to Tampa.
